Let me start this off by saying that Singe isn’t my first Aly Martinez novel and it won't be the last. Martinez writes romance novels that go make you want to just sit down and lose yourself in their world.
Jude was a perfectly flawed hero that had me falling in love with him from the start. He protects fiercely and loves just the same. He’s an alpha male that's gentle when he needs to be. His past has left him broken with walls built up to protect himself. But that doesn’t stop him from trusting his heart with Rhion once he knows that they are both feeling towards each other.
Rhion was a great character too. She was hilarious and had a huge heart that makes it easier for her to care for the other people in her life. She had a traumatic past but despite that, she is strong and confident and sassy. She’s not scared to fight for what she wants.
Their chemistry is off the charts and it’s intense. They both share a deep connection which makes it impossible for them to keep fighting it. They are perfect for each other. The story is filled with laughs, teasing and emotion that builds perfectly throughout the story, as well as the right amount of sexy times. The pacing of the story is great and everything flows without fault.
The secondary characters are just as great and well written. They add more to the story and make it even more enjoyable. I can’t wait for their stories.
Both Rhion and Jude are complex and have heartbreaking pasts that were revealed in the right way. I was completely engaged in their story and I couldn’t put the book down. I really recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance.
