The Fine Print by Lauren Asher is now live!
Blurb
Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings.
Not when we're destined to ruin them.
Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything.
Especially not us.

Review
Lauren Asher is an author I only just discovered a few months ago and I quickly fell in love with her books so I was so excited when I got the chance to read The Fine Print early. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
The Fine Print was quite a switch from the stories I’m used to from Lauren, missing the fast F1 lifestyle and all the travelling but I found I wasn’t missing anything while I was reading. I LOVED the new setting for this book. I’ve never read a book like it and I was so intrigued about the premise of an owner of a Disneyesque theme park and what all the behind the scenes life was like.
If you love the grumpy/sunshine trope like I do, you will love this book. Zahra, is a complete sunshine with a heart of gold. She is working at the park doing a job that she doesn’t really want to do, just so she can be working at the park. But even though giving makeovers to all the little princesses that visit the park isn’t her dream job, that doesn’t stop her from spreading so much joy and positivity. Her real dream though, is to be behind the scenes as a Creator. Imagining how to make the park better.
Rowan is the complete opposite. He’s a serious grump who has a permanent scowl on his face and is known for how he hates talking to people. That is until he meets Zahra and she starts breaking down his walls. He’s back working at Dreamland after his grandfather passes away leaving Rowan a task before he can inherit his 18% of the company. Things happen which makes Rowan decide to help Zahra using an alias so she has no idea she’s been speaking to Rowan so comfortably the whole time. I really really loved their text exchanges though. They were super cute!
Their chemistry is undeniable from the moment they meet. They can’t help but be drawn to each other. I love a good workplace romance and this did not disappoint at all, even if the workplace isn’t a normal office like I’m used to. I think that fact only made me love it more. The banter between these two is hilarious and I loved every minute of it.
I loved watching both Rowan and Zahra grow as people together. Their character growth was something that made me so happy. Rowan’s character probably grows the most and Lauren did such a good job with it.
Lauren has delivered a great and unique storyline that involves some amazing characters, you’ll even fall in love with the secondary characters! I won’t spoil anything but I loved seeing Rowan’s relationship with one of the secondary characters, it just made me fall for him even more.
I think this was a great opener to the Dreamland Billionaires series and I can’t wait to go back to this world and learn more about Rowan’s brothers.

Plagued with an overactive imagination, Lauren spends her free time reading and writing. Her dream is to travel to all the places she writes about. She enjoys writing about flawed yet relatable characters you can't help loving. She likes sharing fast-paced stories with angst, steam, and the emotional spectrum.
Her extra-curricular activities include watching YouTube, binging old episodes of Parks and Rec, and searching Yelp for new restaurants before choosing her trusted favorite. She works best after her morning coffee and will never deny a nap.
