Elsie Silver NEVER disappoints! I was so excited to read Flawless and get to know the Eaton family and this topped my expectations. 

I loved Summer straight away. From the moment we met her, I just knew that Summer would become one of my favourite heroines that Elsie has ever written. She works for her fathers agency and is tasked with basically babysitting Rhett after he had an incident that ruined his image and was losing him sponsors. 

I LOVED the first meeting between Rhett and Summer, and the fact it was in Rhett’s POV made it even better. Summer was not going to take any of his crap and he didn’t know what was about to hit him. 

Summer has been through a lot and is determined not to mess up her first big assignment from her father so she agrees to stick with Rhett and handle him, keeping him on the straight and narrow… but this is the man she had a poster of on her wall as a teenager so there might be some distractions along the way. 

Rhett is at the top of his game and he doesn’t want to quit. He’s always used to doing things for himself, with a family that doesn’t understand why he risks everything to ride a bull that wants to kill him. He’s also the youngest son of a single father so he hasn’t been the priority to anyone in his life, which means he feels lonely in the world, until Summer comes into the picture and flips his world upside down. 

Summer and Rhett’s chemistry is instant and although they started off pretty much hating each other, you could feel the chemistry under the surface fly off the page. I loved seeing them both fall for each other even when they tried to resist. 

I also just have to mention…. Rhett is top tier at dirty talk. I loved every second of it. But when he wanted to be romantic, his words had me swooning. Any time he talked about her freckles, I was swooning so hard. Elsie really knows how to write the perfect man. 

I couldn’t finish this review without mentioning how much I loved the dynamics of the Eaton brothers, they are all so different but all work together when they’re in the same room. I am so excited to read each of their stories and get more of these brothers! I’m also excited to see even more how Summer fits in with the family, those men needed a woman around! 

Overall, I LOVED this book and thought it was such a great opener to a new series. I love the Gold Rush Ranch series and think I will love Chestnut Springs just as much. Elsie Silver has done an amazing job of creating the perfect mix of steam, funny banter, angst and romance to create an amazing story.
