WOW! Q.B. Tyler did not mess around with this book! It has to be one of the spiciest books I’ve read. When I saw that Q.B. was going to be writing a bodyguard romance, I was sold immediately and it did NOT disappoint!
Shay is one of the biggest celebrities of the moment and she’s just found her boyfriend of three years in the middle of a tryst with someone else… so what does she do? Leave immediately with her hot bodyguard who reminds her that she shouldn’t let the paps see her cry…. And then seduce him.
When Shay and Damian first meet, Shay is seen as a troublesome teenager dealing with fame who tries to lose her security all the time… which is why her parents hire Damian. At first she’s resistant but the moment she sees him, the fight is gone. But obviously Damian’s one and only focus is to keep her safe and put her safety first.
As the next 5 years go by, they both put aside their feelings and get on with life, Shay had to grow up and Damian had to remind himself you never fall for who you need to protect. We don’t see much of the 5 years, which I didn’t mind as I’m not someone who loves flashbacks in books, but the book was written so well that I don’t think you need the whole backstory, you just know these characters have built up chemistry and tension that is on the verge of snapping.
Shay has grown up and matured and Damian can’t help but notice. The build up between these two was so natural and felt so real. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out Damian’s reaction to things as we read from Shay’s POV and of course Q.B. came through with the spice!
There was a bit of mystery in this book that I really loved, I was obsessed with protective Damian when Shay was in danger which is one of the reasons we all love bodyguard romances right? But the danger didn’t at all take away anything from the relationship between them both.
I love everything about this book and Q.B. Tyler has written the perfect spicy bodyguard romance of my dreams.

TEMPT, an all-new steamy small town, one-night-stand, age gap romance featuring a plus-sized heroine and a hot single dad from USA Today and #1 Amazon Bestselling Author Melanie Harlow, is now available!
You’ve heard the story about the wedding planner who falls for the groom?
Well, this is the one where she falls for his father.
And that groom? He’s my ex.
I didn’t realize who the gruff, gorgeous older man was the night he rescued me from a creep in a Manhattan hotel bar. All I knew was that a hot, bearded stranger with a protective streak showed up right when I needed a reminder that real gentlemen still exist.
(Although he left his manners behind after asking me up to his room.)
It was the hottest night of my life, but I never thought I’d see the former Navy SEAL again.
Imagine my surprise at the rehearsal dinner one week later, when my sexy one-night stand is introduced as the father of the groom. Even more surprising? That temptation we felt in New York was no fluke.
In public, we pretend there’s nothing between us.
In private, we can’t keep our hands off each other.
The situation is beyond complicated. Zach never even knew he’d fathered a child until recently, and he wants to earn his son’s trust and respect. As for me, I’m looking for a man who wants to start a family, and Zach has made it clear he’s not that man. He’s fifteen years older, newly divorced, and he lives across the country.
But no matter how many times we draw the line, we keep crossing it.
Nothing so wrong should ever feel so right.

I AM OBSESSED! Exes Dad is one of my all time fave tropes and I don’t see it enough so when I saw Melanie was writing this trope, I freaked out and it didn’t disappoint!
I love the Cloverleigh Farms world so much and I’m so happy that Melanie has continued with the second generation.
Millie is Melanie’s first plus size main character and I loved her! We see a bit of background of how she hasn’t always loved her body but now she’s confident and loves her body. Size isn’t mentioned much in this story which I love, I didn’t want it to become a big thing. As someone who is plus size myself, I really related to her story.
Now let’s talk about Zach…. Zach is amazing! I fell in love with Zach. His dirty talk is top tier and his confidence is super sexy. The moment he sees Millie, he’s a goner and has to have her.
Millie never thought she’d find her prince charming and when she sees Zach across the bar, she can’t look away. Neither of them realise that Zach is Millie’s exes father until their paths cross once again.
Their push and pull were great, their chemistry was off the charts and the spice was incredible. Their relationship felt so mature and realising and I really loved it. I really couldn’t put this book down, all I wanted to do was read their story and continue swooning over Zach!
This was such a delicious story and I didn’t want it to end.

Keep reading for a look inside TEMPT!
I was just lifting the glass to my lips when I noticed someone sitting around the curve of the bar to the left. He was broad through the chest and shoulders, wore a black dress shirt with the cuffs rolled up, and sat alone. His hair and beard were short and dark. Our eyes met and my body grew warm. His bone structure was beautiful—his face looked like it was chiseled from granite. He held my gaze for a moment then looked away, and I did as well, focusing on the first cold sips of my martini.
But in seconds, my eyes were drawn to him again, and I noticed the hand holding his glass—wide palm, long, solid fingers, thick wrist. I indulged in a brief and magnificent fantasy that involved those hands in my hair, his beard against my cheek, that brawny chest bare and warm above me. Was it hairy? I’d bet yes. He looked like a man’s man. My nipples tingled inside the bustier I wore beneath my dress.
Once more he caught me staring, and I realized too late that I was actually biting my lip.
Gawd.
The guy next to me whistled loudly and yelled at the bartender, “Hey! Can I get another round down here?”
The bartender, who was busy making other drinks, didn’t even look over. I didn’t blame him.
“The service is so shitty in this place,” he said. “You need a pair of tits to get any attention.” He glanced at my chest. “Yours are fantastic, by the way.”
Horrified, I picked up my glass and finished my drink in a couple swallows. I should have thrown it in his face, but it would have been a waste of a good martini. Setting the empty glass down, I reached into my bag for my credit card.
“Hey, don’t rush off.” The asshole leaned closer. He wore a white shirt and blue blazer, and he reeked of cologne. “We’re just getting to know each other.”
“Not interested,” I said, trying to catch the bartender’s eye so I could get my check and leave.
“Why not? I’m alone, you’re alone.” He covered my hand with his. That’s when I noticed he wore a wedding band.
I snatched my hand away and slid off my stool, putting it between us. “I’m not alone.”
“Oh no?” He laughed and glanced around. “Looks like it to me.”
I finally caught the bartender’s eye, and he came right over. “Can I get you something?”
“I’ll cash out,” I said quickly.
The bartender glanced at the asshole. “Everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine, I was just waiting for someone, but he couldn’t make it, so I—”
“Sorry I’m late.” A hand circled my wrist.
Startled, I spun around and saw a black shirt. Wide shoulders. Dark eyes.
The hot stranger and I exchanged a look of understanding before he leaned in and kissed my cheek. His beard was softer than I’d imagined.
“Forgive me?” His voice, by contrast, was deep and gravelly.
“Of—of course,” I stammered, my heart pounding. I couldn’t stop staring—the guy was gorgeous. A little older than I’d thought—there was silver in his hair and beard—but those dark eyes, that deep voice, and the possessive grip on my wrist? The whole package made my knees go weak.
He looked over my head at the bartender. “She’s with me.”
“Dude, she’s not with you,” argued the jerk in the blazer. “You were over there by yourself a minute ago. I saw you.”
Dropping my wrist, the stranger turned to him and growled, “You should go.”
The jerk slid off his barstool and put one palm up. “Listen, I don’t want any trouble. I just thought—”
“It’s fuckin’ obvious what you thought.” The stranger’s words were laced with fury, but he kept his volume low. Somehow it was even scarier than if he’d yelled. “Now get the fuck out of here, and don’t even look in her direction as you walk out, or you’ll be trying to do it with two broken legs.”
The jerk stood up taller, like he might be thinking of protesting, but he looked like a gerbil facing off against a Doberman. Then he adjusted his lapels and moved toward the exit without even glancing my way.
The stranger watched him go with hooded, hawklike eyes before looking down at me again. “You okay?”
“Yes.” But I was struggling to catch my breath.
“Can I bring you two another round?” the bartender asked.
The stranger looked at me. “Would you like another drink?”
I took a breath, willing myself to be brave. “Only if you’ll stay and have one with me.”
He hesitated, rubbing one hand along his jaw. “Okay. Sure.”
“Another martini for the lady and a Glenlivet on the rocks, coming right up,” said the bartender.
I perched on my barstool again, crossing my legs. “Thanks for coming to my rescue.”
“You’re welcome.” He sat down next to me. “I hope I didn’t insult you.”
“Insult me?”
“I didn’t mean to imply you couldn’t handle that jackass on your own.”
“Oh! Well, maybe I could have.” I laughed a little. “But I liked your way better.”
One side of his mouth twitched, setting off a thousand butterflies in my stomach.
“This round is on me,” I said as our drinks appeared.
He shook his head. “Not a chance.”
“But I’d like to repay you for standing up for me.”
“No payment necessary. Any gentleman would have done it.”
“Gentleman, huh?” I tilted my head and gave him a playful smile. I was a pretty good flirt when I wanted to be. “So you’re saying I’m safe with you?”
He didn’t answer right away, and I sat up a little taller in my seat. Slightly arched my back. But his eyes stayed put on mine. “You’re safe with me.”

Bitter Sweet Heart, a forbidden hockey romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, is now available!
From the outside looking in, I live a charmed life: hockey legend for a father, my own promising future in the league, a great family, awesome friends. It’s not untrue, but it’s not quite that simple either.
My dad’s advice has always been to make hockey my number-one priority—at least until I make it to the pros. So, going into my senior year of college, I have a plan. I’ll put in the effort required to pass my classes, play hockey like my life depends on it, and avoid relationships. All I have to do is stay focused on the end game, and I’ll walk away with a degree and into a career in the NHL.
It should be easy.
But when a woman literally floats into my dock, just before summer ends and my senior year begins, I can’t resist one last hookup. What harm could a one-night stand do? It’s not like we even exchanged numbers.
Everything is fine until I run into her on campus.
It’s a big school. I should be able to avoid her.
Except she happens to be in my class.
And she’s not a student.
She’s my professor.
Read today, exclusively on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited!
Helena Hunting never disappoints! This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2022 and I loved it!
I would recommend reading Little Lies first since you see a lot of Maverick in there and I think it’s a great build up to Bitter Sweet Heart. It made me wants to read his book way more!
I love age gap romances but never read many where the woman is the older one in the relationship because of how the women are portrayed but Helena did not disappoint me with this one.
Maverick is an old soul and doesn’t act like your typical college students. He’s struggled with the trump he and his family have suffered and it has continued to effect his present life. I love the way Helena represents mental health in this story, she does it so well. They aren’t always so obvious so I loved that Helena shows that. Maverick has such a massive heart and has always been a protector when it comes to the ones he loves.
Clover is such a ray of sunshine. I loved her so much. She is such a strong and caring person and has been through so much. I love her relationship with Maverick and how she helps him. Their connection is so strong and the chemistry is incredible.
I won’t give anything else away so I don’t ruin the story but I would recommend this book so much! It’s extra great if you have read Little Lies and Helena’s other series. I love these books so much because I get to see my favourite characters from the Pucked and All In series be parents.

Keep reading for a look inside Bitter Sweet Heart!
When seven o’clock arrives, I introduce myself and explain that I’ll be taking over for Professor Connelly. I field a few questions and reassure the students that he’s okay. I also brought in a get well soon card for them to sign. I pass it to the student directly in front of me, then pull up my attendance list and start calling names.
The door opens when I’m halfway through, and a student straggles in. It happened in my English class earlier, but in a class of three hundred students, it’s easier to slip in the back door and quietly find a seat. That’s what I expect this student to do.
Except his phone starts ringing. And it’s not a normal ringtone. It’s a song blaring through the room at full volume.
“Fuck. Shit.” He’s standing in the middle of the room, facing the back of the class, every single student staring at him in wide-eyed horror.
He rummages around in his pocket and pulls out the offending device as Justin Bieber croons “I’m so fucking lonely” to the entire class. Instead of silencing it, he answers the call—on speaker.
A male voice that sounds like an angry father starts yelling. “Why the hell am I getting calls about you being late for practice, you’re—”
He spins around, gaze moving over the class as he takes in their looks of horror. He’s wearing a baseball cap, and the lights above cast a shadow over his face. “Oh, fuck me,” he mutters. “Hey, Dad, I’m in the middle of class. I’ll call you back later.” He rushes the words, so it all sounds quite garbled. Then he drops into the closest empty desk and slams his elbow on the edge on his way down. He sucks in a groan.
I give the student a look that I hope conveys how unimpressed I am. “Are you quite done?” I’m ready to go off on him, but he raises a hand and knocks his hat off his head.
“Uh, sorry, Professor. I think I might be in the wrong class.” His eyes dart around the room. “Or maybe not?”
“Professor Connelly is out for back surgery. Professor Sweet is taking over the class,” the student beside him says.
“Oh shit.” His vibrant green gaze, ringed in hazel, meets mine.
All the air leaves my lungs on a whoosh. The room tilts, and I’m suddenly light-headed. I can tell instantly that he recognizes me, and the silence in the room is deafening. Fortunately, he fills it by rambling out an explanation.
“Sorry about the phone call. And for being late. Coach kept me after practice and my dad’s on my ass because I had a bad game. I’m so sorry, Cl—” He clasps his hands in front of him and bites his lips together.
“Don’t let it happen again.”
My mouth feels like it’s full of cotton, and the rest of me feels disconnected from my body. Because this student, sitting in the middle of my sophomore class, is my summer fling.
My one-night stand who left behind an origami crane and a lot of memories I wish I could now erase.

A False Start, an all-new steamy small-town romance from bestselling author Elsie Silver is available now!
I kissed my best friend’s little sister, and the world stood still.
That night we were two perfect strangers, the town’s grumpy recluse and a gorgeous girl in the back of a bar.
Until we weren’t.
Because Nadia Dalca isn’t just some girl. She’s the girl I can’t have. Fourteen years younger than me and completely off-limits.
My plan is to stay away, but the universe keeps pushing us together. It’s like some sort of cosmic joke, to give me a taste of something so electric—so real—something that breathed life back into me.
Because I can look, but I can’t touch.
Her sinful curves, her light-hearted laughter, her wild side . . . I’m addicted to every last bit of her.
And when she turns those sultry eyes on me––the ones so full of longing and so free of judgment? I’ve always considered myself a strong man. But when she looks at me I’m weak.
To give in to our connection would be a betrayal. My life is beyond complicated, and she has the world at her fingertips. Her brother is the only family she has left, and sad as it sounds, he’s also my only friend.
A False Start is the final book in the Gold Rush Ranch series and what an ending it was! Nadia and Griffin have both been through a lot in their lives which makes their story more delicate.
Griffin is Nadia’s brothers best friend but when they first meet, neither of them know who the other is. Griff is the ultimate grumpy hero while Nadia is super fierce and doesn’t take anything lying down. They’ve tried to hate each other and stay away from each other but that is not always possible. Their chemistry is burning bright and they can’t ignore it forever. Griffin likes to be in his house up on the mountains alone so it was great to see him slowly let Nadia in.
I love Nadia and Griffin together, from the outside they might not look like they would work together but they are perfect for each other. I really loved them together and thought this book was amazing.
Griffin was EVERYTHING! This man hardly speaks but as soon as he does… the words he says are just INCREDIBLE!
Elsie has written the perfect mix of steam and punch you in the gut emotion. The build up of Nadia and Griffin’s relationship was perfect. Elsie did not disappoint! A False Start is the perfect steamy and emotional small town romance. This is such a great story about the love between two people but also about coming back from trauma and loving yourself and letting yourself have a second chance to be happy.
