“Look, if I go clean up are you going to run out the door?”

“Would it bother you if I did?”

Beau frowned. “If I say yes, is it guaranteed you’ll do it just to bother me?” My mouth twitched. He rocked against me. “I’m serious.”

“Fine.” I sighed exaggeratedly, like he was really hassling me. “I’ll stay for a few.”

“Good.” Beau stood up, and I was suddenly eye level with his taut, sculpted stomach. “There’s another bathroom in my bedroom. And…you can grab some shorts from the chest if you don’t want to sit around naked.”

I almost asked him what the hell we were going to be sitting around doing, but kept my mouth shut. He went to the bathroom between the living room and kitchen, and I explored the rest of his apartment while slathered in jizz. It was almost as nice as mine, but nowhere near as artsy. My grandmother had helped me furnish it after shopping at thrift stores and refinishing furniture, but Beau’s apartment was kind of like a showroom. Eerily perfect.

Either way, his bathroom was on point with the lighting and shower, so I jumped in quickly after tying my hair in a knot. I rinsed off, wrapped myself in a super-plush towel, and then snagged a pair of cut off shorts and a T-shirt that had his fucking face on it, which was too funny to not wear.

I waltzed out in my new outfit and found him on the phone with…a menu in his hand. Freezing, I fucked up my entrance and gaped when he waved it in my face.

“Do you like Mediterranean food?”

“Uh. What?”

Beau looked at me like I was an idiot. “Zane. Tell me what you want to eat.”

“Oh. Um. I don’t know. I don’t not like any foods.”

He rolled his eyes and rattled off enough food to feed an entire family. When it was done, and he told them to charge his account, he pointed at the shirt I’d procured.

“Just so you know, I didn’t have that made.”

“Uh-huh. But before I mock you relentlessly, why are you ordering food? Like, just because you’re trying to make up for being a dick doesn’t mean—”

Beau grabbed the front of the shirt and a ripping sound filled the room. He didn’t even pause. Just jerked me against him and kissed me so hard I lost my train of thought. Fuck, I lost my sense of self. Fell headfirst into the intensity of his kiss and then wrapped my arms around his neck because… I really could not get enough.

His soft lips were perfect, his tongue lashing at mine with such finesse my dick started to swell again. Especially when he tangled his hand in my hair and tugged just hard enough to make my knees weaken.

“Fuck me before the food gets here,” I blurted.

Beau pressed our foreheads together, panting against my face. “We just washed up. And I want to talk to you.”

“We can talk later.” Fuck, was I whining? I was whining. “Please, Beau?”

He squeezed his eyes shut, muttered a very clear fuck it, and then backed me into his bedroom. We were on his bed, clothes discarded, so fast my head was spinning with delight. How Beau Starr was the best kisser I’d ever been with was a mystery, but, damn, the guy’s tongue was magic.

5 stars for Mature Content!

Mature Content is the fourth instalment in the Cyberlove series and can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the whole series first or at least book three. This series became one of my favourite series since I fell in love with book one and it hasn’t disappointed me since. Mature Content was everything I wanted and more.

I don’t think I've ever read a character like Zane before and that made me love him even more. He was so real, he’s had enough of trying to please people especially his parents who slut shame him. Zane was such an interesting character, I loved how he wasn’t ashamed of what he liked in the bedroom and embraced it.

I loved Beau. He was so sweet and caring no matter what. He puts on this different persona when he’s filming videos for his youtube channel but even without that, he cares about the people he loves and does everything he can to make them happy.

The sex between these two is off the charts hot. Beau loves taking charge and Zane loves it when he’s told what to do. They both like it rough with hair pulling, dirty talk, begging and bondage and none of these scenes are safe for work!

Their road to a happy ending doesn’t come easy and they have to work for it. Both of them have their own reasons for being hesitant about their relationship. Beau is still getting over how his ex played him, he’s ashamed of his past relationship and how it still has a hold over him. After all the judgement and shaming that Zane has gone through he doesn’t trust easily which makes him try to keep the relationship just about sex.

I really loved this enemies to lovers story. I thought that these two were so perfect for each other. Their conversations via text or face to face had me laughing out loud as I was reading. Zane finally has someone who gives it right back to him.

I honestly LOVED this story and I'm in love with these characters, I think they’re going to stick with me.

I highly recommend reading this book, you won't regret it.

For a moment, we locked eyes, and the air between us crackled with the promise of what could come next if we let it. I didn’t breathe—didn’t move—because this rubber band tugging at us could snap any minute, and I had no idea which way it would go.

Thad’s jaw clenched, then his hand shot out and gripped the side of my head. I sucked in a breath as

he pulled me toward him. The heat of his palm seared my scalp as he closed the distance until our mouths were inches away. The tent was filled with panted breaths, pounding hearts, and every cell in my body was screaming want want want.

I licked my lips, the very tip of my tongue brushing his, and that was the last encouragement he needed, because then Thad slammed his mouth onto mine. His body crashed along with it, so my back slammed onto the ground and Thad landed on top.

But I didn’t care about any of that, because Thad was devouring me. His mouth moved against mine, opening me up, demanding to be let in, and I obliged. Thad swept his tongue inside, kissing me like he couldn’t get enough, would never get enough, like kissing me was better than breathing.

Kissing Thad was better than breathing.

I held on as best as I could, clutching his broad shoulders, the muscles shifting beneath his skin. With his knees, he spread my legs and slotted himself between them, grinding his hard cock against mine.

Nothing apparently. Because Thad rose, pulled on a pair of pants and a shirt, and with one last look at me, left the tent.

Without a word.

5 Stars for Overexposed!

Let me start off by saying that the In Focus series has been one of my favourite book series to date. I knew going into Overexposed that I would like it, however, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Overexposed became my favourite book from the In Focus series, however, that doesn’t mean the others are any less amazing.

We met Levi in the last book and I was intrigued to know his story. I loved Levi and Thad. Levi isn’t really like the persona he puts on for the reality tv show he stars in. He comes across as a normal guy, which makes him easier to relate to. Thad is very quiet at first, he doesn't open up easily but as the story progressed and we learned more about him, I began falling in love with him too.

I loved how the majority of this story was set in a unique location of the Appalachian Trail. It gave the story a level of adventure although it doesn’t take anything away from the emotion and romance that the story is telling. The Trail has a meaning that is important to both Thad and Levi, the way these meanings are revealed is beautiful.

Thad and Levi’s character development throughout the story is amazing, nothing feels rushed. Their development as a couple is the same, nothing is rushed and it happens naturally in such a beautiful way. Their connection with each other jumped off the page. Thad opening himself up to Levi as their relationship progresses was a magical thing to experience even though the only chapter in Thad’s POV is the epilogue. The two of them are meant to be and it’s obvious as they go on their emotional journeys together as they hike the trail. The way this story unravels itself proves just how talented Megan Erickson is.

There was just the right amount of angst, emotion, steam and romance. Everything was balanced amazingly. I felt everything along with Levi as he did as I read from his POV. I couldn’t stop turning the page as I wanted to know more and more. I didn’t want this story to end. The HEA at the end left me feeling happy and satisfied. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I would highly recommend not just this book but the whole series!
