Omg.. where do I even start? The VIP series is one of my favourites so I was DYING for this book to come out and I think the 3 year wait was worth it. I LOVED being back in this world, these characters mean so much to me and I just enjoyed being back with them.

The story follows Brenna who is the PR manager for Kill John and Rye who is the bassist for the band. Rye accidentally overhears (eavesdrops on) Brenna talking about how she wants to have incredible sex for once in her life and Rye kindly offers himself as tribute, this is how their no strings attached relationship begins.

I was laughing so much at what they all got up to. Brenna and Rye are so perfect for each other and their chemistry was off the charts. Even though they acted like they hated each other, you could easily tell how much they cared about one another. You could completely feel their chemistry coming off the pages and I loved reading their story and watching them grow as people.

I loved Rye more than I was expecting, he was so vulnerable with Brenna and opened himself up to her. He was hiding some insecurities and worries but with Brenna by his side, he was able to overcome the challenges.

Kristen did not disappoint at all. I love this world and these characters so much and I completely LOVED this book!

4.5 Stars.
Sarina is one of my top 5 favourite authors so when I heard that she was writing a rockstar romance I got super excited! I really love rockstar romances and anything Sarina writes so this was the best of two worlds for me!

Lies & Lullabies is the first instalment in the Hush Notes series which is about a band. Each book is a rockstar romance about each band member written by a different author. This was a great kick off to the series!

I really loved this mix or rockstar, small town, second chance and baby daddy romance! I really loved the story and all of the characters, even the secondary characters! Vivi, Ethan, Adam and the other band members added such a great mix to the story.

I fell in love with Jonas and Kira right from the start and I was so excited to continue to read to find out where their story would end. They both have regrets after they first met 5 years ago as they were both going through a hard time but they found solace in each other until Jonas had to leave. 5 years later they meet again and their chemistry is still off the charts and you can feel the intensity between them. They were so perfect for each other even after the 5 years apart. Their reunion was a slow burn as secrets came to light but I really loved how Sarina told their story. It was an emotional rollercoaster but one that I was happy to be on.

I loved the relationship between all the band members and the tour manager and I really loved the relationship between Adam and Kira. You could really tell just how much they loved each other and how they would do anything for the other person. I could go on about this story but I really don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll keep this short.

This book didn’t disappoint me at all, it has all the amazing storytelling that I associate with anything Sarina Bowen writes. If you love her other books, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to see where Devney Perry and Rebecca Yarros take this series!
